THE BEST TEACHERS ARE PARENTS

I remember a day which was very horrible, however at the same time it was very important for my life. While I was preparing exams to be enrolled to a university at the private institution, my grades were not good actually they were too bad. I didn’t tell the truth to my parents about my grades. After awhile days, my mother went to the private institution to get information about my performance, and the tutors said my grades to my mother. So, when she knew that, she wasn’t angry with me, but I was scary. After that, my parents taught me that telling lies is not a good behavior. Therefore, I think that parents are the best teachers for their children for three reasons.
First, the family is the first place to teach to children. Until children go to the school, parents teach something such as what they should do in community, how they should talk to elderly people, and how can choose true friends. Parents also teach respect to their children. For example, these are a few samples but I think they are important to show how parents efficient to teach new things while their children go to the school. When I was a child, before I started elementary school, my sister taught me how to tie my shoes. She also taught me how I cross. In addition, my mother taught me how I greet with people. On the other hand, while I was growing up, I learned a lot of things from my parents by watching, hearing.
Second, parents can share their experiences about the life. Parents are mature people, and they have a lot of experiences. While they were doing something, they certainly did a lot of mistakes at the same time. When their children want to do same things, parents can tell their stories what their children want to do to them. For instance, when I got driver’s license, I wanted to drive fast. One day, while I was driving to my sister house, I overdrove. So my father reprimanded me, and he told me about his experience which was that while he was driving fast, he had a traffic accident. He also told me that you mustn’t overdrive. After this day, I have never been overdriving.
Third, parents are the best teachers because they always connect with their children. I think that parents know very well their children instead of their friends or teachers for two reasons. One of them is that they live together, and children grow up in parent’s house. Another reason is that parents can see easily their children’s mistakes. So, parents can teach the truths when their children do mistakes.
In conclusion, the best teachers are parents for their children because the family is the first place for children before they go to school to learn. In addition, children grow up along with their parents, so they always communicate each other. Moreover, children can learn a lot of new things from parents’ experiences because they are mature people.
